“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is the second movie after the 2018 “Aquaman”. Directed by James Wan, it features actors like Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, and Patrick Wilson. This movie is really pretty to watch, especially the underwater scenes which are amazing. But, the story isn’t very strong and the characters don’t feel very real or complete. It doesn’t leave a big impression and feels a bit like it’s struggling.

The movie starts by telling us about the past of Atlantis, a big underwater city, and how it was destroyed. Then, it shows us Aquaman (played by Jason Momoa) and Mera (played by Amber Heard) trying to save the oceans from being destroyed. They get help from Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and King Nereus (Dolph Lundgren).

There are some really cool fight scenes in the movie, especially under the water. The special effects are wonderful and it’s a visual treat. But, the story isn’t strong and the people in the movie don’t feel complete. The movie tries to do a lot but ends up not doing much. It’s also a bit too long.

Jason Momoa is really good as Aquaman. He’s fun to watch and brings a lot of energy. Amber Heard is good too as Mera. But the other actors, like Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, don’t get much to do. The movie sets up some things for future movies but doesn’t do it well.

The script is a bit weak too. The conversations are a bit silly and the story is easy to guess. It tries to be many things at once but doesn’t really succeed in any. It also feels a bit too long.

So, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is really beautiful to look at, with amazing underwater scenes. But the story is weak and the characters aren’t developed well. It doesn’t leave a lasting mark and feels like it’s struggling. It’s also a bit too long. I’d say watch this movie if you liked the first one or if you’re a fan of Jason Momoa.”
